A Confessional Theology through the History of the Christian Church. This is a massive site full of excellent material.

Another site full of early church writing from the first 800 years. (Plus loads of excellent material)

JSTOR: Trusted archives for scholarship. Access to scholarly articles / book reviews. You will need to go through an academic institution to get these. 'Trusted' doesn't necessarily mean true so be discerning.
Christian Classics Ethereal Library: Works by Philip Schaff Dr Needham describes the work of Philip Schaff as 'One of the most brilliant histories of the Church ever written'.
